PDP Accepts Responsibility & Apologizes for Politcal Toxicity

Earlier today, Nigeria's major opposition party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in a series of tweets on the micro-blogging app, Twitter acknowledged the growing toxicity in the polity. The party also lamented the various effects of the problem including polarisation, damage of friendships and stifling of stimulating discourse among the citizenry.

Therefore the party accepted responsibility and apologised for any part they might have played in the societal problem, promising to constructively criticize the present government and provide credible alternative solutions to the myriads of challenges facing the nation while urging its supporters and believers to adopt the new creed.

Curiously, the Acting Party Chairman of the PDP, Senator Ahmed Markarfi had also in earlier tweets urged the party members to stop "abusing" the government even as it continues to "fail daily" because "abuses cannot solve any problem".
